Good or bad news?

Hello...
As you all know my hard drive got busted a while back. I had all my pict's on that little piece of equipment. I've been in contact with a company that does retrieval. They have a office in Santiago so I went to see them last week. The diagnostic took about 6-7 hours so I left my hard drive with them. The next day they sent me an e-mail with the info on what the problem was and how much it was going to cost to repair it. The cost was 400.000 cl. That is about 4600.-Nok.  Ugh..... Sorry to say it, but I don't have the cash to retrieve those pictures. The good thing is that the diagnostic was free, heh.....

Anyway, I'll write about what went down in Argentina and in Bolivia, then I'll go back to Villa Alemana and start things from there. (or end things) I've been taking more pictures from the surroundings just to try to make up for the loss. I'll skip Christmas since I lost the Christmas pictures too :b

I'll post the new stuff soon so we can carry on :D

Argentina: Mendoza pt.1

Allright. Me and my cousin were supposed to go to Bolivia first. We bought some super cheap plane tickets and were ready to go on a sweet adventure. The day of the flight came and we were making the last preparations when we saw that the ticket were a month off! WTF! We booked the tickets wrong! Well, no biggie, I'll have to find somewhere else to go in the meantime.

EMERGENCY STOP!

Oh, No!
My external hard drive just got busted! And I had all my pictures and movies there :(
I will try to retrieve them but I do not have any high hopes that I can get my stuff back. I know that retrieving data is very expensive and I do not have a lot of cash with me.
Anyway, I do have the next post at hand, but the rest of the adventure is kinda lost.
I had pictures from other places in Chile, Argentina and Bolivia ++
So right now I'll wait a while to see if I can retrieve the data, but I will not wait too much.

Like I said, I do have the next post with pictures and I will post it asap. I was lucky that I didn't loose that one too, heh...
