After the little letdown of the tickets we decided to go to Argentina instead. Hell yeah!
We took the bus over the mighty Andes to get to Argentina. We were going to a city named Mendoza, well known for it's wineyards :)
Omw to Mendoza.
The Andes
Crazy roads to get to the top of the mountain.
I thought there would be more snow around the peaks.
Old train bridges. Not in use anylonger.
The trip took about 4 hours, and when we got there we went straight to a hotel my cousin knew about. He didn't want to spend the night in a hostel or in the street as I would've liked to do just for kicks, haha! Anyway we settled down and went out to get us a steak dinner.
Man! That was a nice steak we got. Must have eaten half a cow at the restaurant we went to.
Half a cow to half the price I could buy me a king kong kebab in oslo.
Well all was great until two kids came by and wanted to sell us some newspapers while we were eating. Guess the kids were about 12-14 years old. When the kids left, we suddenly realised that my cell phone was gone from the dining table. Good Greif! Those little kids snatched my phone! I jumped up and sprinted behind the little kids. Fortunately for me they did not look back and to not cause any suspicion, they walked at a moderate pace. I came fast and hard on them, grabbing them both by the back of the neck. The kids yelped and I drowe them both near me. "Guess one of you guys has sommething that belongs to me". I said in a low voice. They both started to deny that they had done anything wrong and that they did not have anything that was mine. Afther a lot of mumbling from them, I tighten my grip on their scrawny necks and drowe them even closer to me."I don't think you guys want to get into trouble, because if you do not give me what is mine, I will give you trouble"
That's when the youngest of the kids reached for his pockets and handed me my stolen phone.
I released them and they started to run like whipped dogs. Poor kids.....

Waiting for our steak dinner :D
Kids in the background drinking wine in public?!
And suddenly a police officer catches them.
But he only warns them to not drink anymore in public.
So they pack up and go towards a mob of people shouting and acting wild. The fuzz is about a footballmatch. Here in LatinAmerica the people loves their football :)
Outside the Casino. I do have a feral look, heh.
There was an international food festival here in Mendoza.
Uh-Oh. Guess I took a wrong turn somewhere
Anyway, I walked back to the restaurant and sat down to finnish my beer with Gerhard. Hehe, he could not run with me because we hadn't payed for our food yet and that would have gotten us into some trouble. Running away from the bill is never a good thing :)
Later that evening we went to the casino in Mendoza. I played some BlackJack while Gerhard hitted the pokertable. First time I've ever played Black Jack and it was kinda funny. But in the end you loose all your money. That is sommething I do not have the luxury to do. Even if it's super cheap to play. Well, for around nok 250,- I played for 4-5 hours at the table. I won some and I lost some, but in the end you loose.
In Mendoza we went to two casinoes that evening. We were like 3 hours in one of them and the rest of the night in the other. The cool thing is that if you play, they serve you free drinks, Allright!
I think we got back to the hotel around 4 am in the morning and we were supposed to go to a wineyard tomorrow morning ugh...
Nexy up....
Wineyards, Casino and more beer!
NOTE: This is the last post I have for now since my harddrive got busted. I have to wait some time to se if the data can be retrieved. Meanwhile, just stay put :)
