Bolivia: Santa Cruz pt.1

Nathy eating at Dumbo's

Aooow…. I slept actually pretty well on the bus. The weather was changing too; it was getting a little warmer now. Good… We were trying to get away from the cold weather that had hit us, and the altitude that had us so tired all the time.

That was a huge bug

Arrived in Santa Cruz early in the afternoon and off we went to find ourselves a hotel or hostel around the station. After a lot of asking around, (yeah, Nathy loves to ask around) we found a reasonable hotel. Double beds and a TV, what else could we ask for, and about a 30 min. walk from the heart of the city and a 5 min walk from the central station
At once we could see the difference from the rest of Bolivia compared to Santa Cruz. The women are beautiful, the weather was better and almost no altitude. Sweet!

Food at Dumbo's

Hell yeah! I want some Poke-Burgers!

Chocopotamos, with 14 vitamins and minerals!

Of course, after settling in our new hotel, we headed downtown. Actually, we dined at Dumbo's. I had been here before and knew the place well enough after last time I was here with Gerhard.
We walked around the city and went to the ”Casa Municipal de la Cultura” here in Santa Cruz. They had an exhibition of paintings from Kuramotto. Dunno who this is, but here are some of his works.

Next day…
Going to the Zoo!
