It is time to cross some new borders. And next border is Puerto de Iguazu in Argentina. We had already decided that it was a good idea to stay a couple of days in Argentina so we could visit the falls of Iguaçu from the Argentinean side. So, we packed lightly and left our main backpacks at the hostel with Boris. It took us about 30-40 min. to cross the border from where we were in Brazil over to Argentina, that is just awesome.

After we found ourselves accommodation in Puerto de Iguazu, it was time to plan for the day, and first stop was of course, food! We got ourselves a good steak dinner for almost nothing and a cold refreshing beer.

Lookin' crazy!

Since it was a bit late in the afternoon we thought it would be prudent to leave the waterfall for tomorrow and instead go to find the 3 borders.
After walking around a couple of hours and getting a look at the river that divides the frontiers we headed slowly back to the main street and the local casino. Well, a lot of Brazilians here since it’s legal to have casinos in Argentina and not in Brazil. We won some and lost some, but all in all we had fun.

Late dinner time now, so it was pizza time. My goodness… What a delicious pizza. It was so friggi’n good we had to order a second one! And of course, more beer.

Huge Grasshoppaaaa!

After dinner we just walked around town taking random pics before we went back to the hostel.

Next up…..

The waterfalls (for real)
