The next day, we didn’t do a lot. The highlight of the day was to walk on the highway towards the “Balneario Municipal” Some kind of bath out in the open. We heard that we could swim with some fishes and decided to take a look.
Since today was also Sunday there was little else to do also. Well, we walked for around 2 hours and were getting attacked by crazy kamikaze mosquitoes that were relentless in their pursuit for our blood. Like I said, after about 2 hours we finally reached the Balneario. We had to pay an entrance fee and inn we went to check out the place. Here are the pics of the place.
Almost there.

Ice cream time....
Well,
neither one of us wanted to bath in the river. I do not swim well at all and
the current was really strong and Nathy wasn’t going to swim because there were
big fishes in the water, and she is somewhat scared of big fishes, haha! After
some wandering around the place, we had ourselves an Ice cream and decided to
head back to town. A 2 hour walk was expecting us and even if we were ready for
it we were a little tired of the mosquitoes. Good thing the universe loves us a
lot cos’ after a couple of hundred meters of walking towards the highway a car
stopped and offered us a ride to town. All right! The Brazilians are a swell
people indeed. The guys left us at the entrance of the town so we walked from
there to our hostel. When we arrived, our buddy was waiting for us so we could
start our bbq. After a quick shower we went to help Augusto with the grill.
Nathy made some rice and some veggies and I checked out the grill with our bud.
The end
result was a nice one, man these Brazilians really like to grill.
Next up…
Walk the
